Working hand-in-hand with Dream Home Project Manager Joe Ballstaedt, interior design veterans Roxanne Hepworth and Virginia Hoffman brought decades of combined experience to the home’s interior transformation, drawing from their vast expertise in a number of genres to create a balance of organic, contemporary and rustic elements suited to the home’s unique spaces and sculptural forms. Roxanne and Virginia hand-selected every element of the Dream Home from the hardwood floors and hand-woven rugs the custom furniture accents.

“Everything we’ve selected is natural,” the designers told SKI Magazine in a 2007 interview. “Cottons, goosedown feather beds and wools for fabric – marble, onyx, travertine and granite for stone. Everything is organic and blends wonderfully.”
Having started the design process from the home’s blueprint phase, Roxanne and Virginia sought to complement the Dream Home’s unique landscape and architecture with a balance of rustic and contemporary elements.

“We’re spinning off the architect’s fluid design,” they told SKI.  “The home has a sweeping circular staircase, a serpentine hearth room and balconies, radius-shaped islands, bars and grand theater – everything has movement.” The designers achieved that same feel with each furnishing, from the curved hearth room couches to the opaque tiles in the spa.
